The breakfast here is amazing! The atmosphere is even better! A warm, homemade meal at the cottage only 20 minutes out of the city. Zone out on the crystal clear water while scarfing down sausages and bacon, that's the good life.

Small boat rentals, 'down-home' cooking and country-style service...hard to believe it's that close to Kanata! Whether you want to get on the water for fishing/fun, or enjoy a semi-greasy meal, this place is worth checking out (especially if you want to escape the City but not the outer- limits!) Chuck & Sylvia, and the rest of the staff will make you feel at home and wanting to come back. Yes, you can even fly there (via seaplane!)
Had a lovely lunch here with my Aunt and 3 sisters. Food was freshly prepared, generous portions and great tasting. We all had something different and it was all great. We sat out on the lakeside deck and watched the geese and ducks and two small planes land and take off! Lovely. Will be back.
